Mutualism- both are benefitted
This shows mutualism because both organisms are benefitting from the other. The bird is eating the bugs off of the deer for food and the deer is becoming insect free.
Commensalism- one is benefitted but the other is not harmed
This shows commensalism because the tree does not get harmed and the squirrel gets protection from predators and a home.
parasitism- one is benefitted while the other is harmed
This shows parasitism because the parasite is benefitting from the caterpiller, while the caterpiller is being harmed.
